What equipment is used for drying of tailings?

Tailing is one of the products of the sorting operation in the beneficiation, in which the part with the lowest content of useful target components is called tailings. 

Tailings are not completely useless waste, and often contain components that can be used for other purposes and can be comprehensively utilized. Achieving no waste discharge is a requirement for the full utilization of mineral resources and the protection of the ecological environment.

Technical characteristics of tailings dewatering screen:

1. High working frequency, high vibration intensity, low moisture content of the product on the screen, high unit processing capacity, and high solid recovery rate when used for dewatering tailings.


2. Using the principle of self-synchronization, the motor drives the vibrator through a tire coupling, with simple structure and low working noise.


3. Installation with negative inclination angle, the screen surface of the pre-dewatering section is installed at 45 degrees from the horizontal, increasing the dewatering area and promoting the material to be dehydrated as soon as possible to form a filter layer.

4 The screen surface adopts polyurethane elastic screen surface, which has high open rate and elasticity, which is beneficial to dehydration.


5. The vibrator is an eccentric unit structure, which is easy to disassemble and maintain.


6. The bearing adopts special bearings for vibration equipment to avoid premature damage to the bearing due to heating.
